The University Library collects a library collection focusing on science, technology, textiles, architecture, art and construction.

The institute connects laboratories of technical disciplines from TUL and their cooperation with important subjects of the application sphere.

The department provides teaching in physics, natural science engineering, condensed matter physics, engineering acoustics and other physical disciplines.

Depending on their specialization, students are offered advanced studies in the specializations of Specific Learning and Behavioural Disorders, Czech Language, English Language with Didactics, German Language with Didactics, Mathematics, Music Education and Art Education in addition to the basic studies of teaching for the first stage of primary school.
