The reliquary is a testament to Romanesque goldsmithing of exceptional artistic and craftsmanship quality. It was made for the Benedictine abbey in Florennes, Belgium, at the beginning of the 13th century. It contains the relics of St. Maurus and St. John the Baptist. To restore it, it was necessary to revive medieval goldsmithing techniques.

Operation of the castle where the series Crime Scene Investigation was filmed. The Baroque reconstruction in 1720-1730 was led by architect František Maxmilian Kaňka, who extended the castle with a garden wing. Liběchov Castle is also connected with the beginnings of the artistic career of the Czech classicist sculptor Václav Levy.

Castle founded at the turn of the 13th and 14th centuries, declared a national cultural monument in 1999. The chateau horticulture with greenhouses, situated in the south-western part of the chateau grounds, is an integral part of this complex built since the 1860s.

Tours of the castle. According to local findings, a Great Moravian hillfort existed near the castle in the 8th - 9th century. The castle was an important stronghold of the Přemyslids. It was built on a narrow rocky promontory about 70 m above the level of the Želetavky River. It is possible to organize weddings, corporate events and celebrations.
