We offer tours of the Baroque castle. Films such as The Explosion at Five, Elizabeth's Court and Night at the Castle were filmed on the premises. Between 1586 and 1596, the original water fortress was rebuilt into a Renaissance single-storey chateau. This was done under Bernard Ludwig Tovar of Enczesfeld. It is possible to organize weddings.

The Duchcov Chateau was built in 1675-1685 by Jan Bedřich of Wallenstein according to the plans of the architect Jean Baptiste Mathey on the site of an older Renaissance Lobkowitz mansion.
