The Institute provides Czech language studies for future secondary school teachers and those interested in working in various educational and scientific institutions or in the media. Teaching specialises in the history and theory of Czech literature, children's literature or the didactics of Czech language and literature.

Instruction in both theoretical and practical disciplines for direct teaching in schools and in extracurricular educational and cultural institutions in the field of art and creative arts. The program specializes in teacher training for elementary and secondary schools, visual arts, and special art education for disadvantaged groups.

Provision of instruction in instrumental techniques and clinical biochemistry. Teaching specializes in applied analytical and instrumental techniques in laboratory medicine, immunohematology and transfusion services, liquidology, statistical methods and procedures in laboratory practice.

We offer teaching in the field of environmental and land law, land registry, environmental issues, ecopolitics, consumer protection. We specialize in cooperative law, public health and consumer protection or nature, forestry, fisheries and hunting.

We provide education in the field of nursing. Teaching specializes in nursing procedures, human needs, first aid, education in nursing, and a comprehensive approach to senior skin care. It also deals with pre-hospital emergency care, research in nursing or emergency medicine.

Teaching in the field of psychology and psychosomatics. Study specialises in psychotherapeutic techniques in midwifery, psychotherapy and applied psychology, sociology, health communication or psychosomatics in dentistry.

Teaching in the field of physical education and health education. The program focuses on healthy nutrition, addictions, somatology, the role of physical activity, and issues such as mental health crises and bullying.

The department provides instruction in mathematical analysis.

The center builds and operates hardware and software facilities for educational, research and administrative activities. It implements the concept of development of information and communication technologies and audiovisual equipment. It ensures the administration and development of the computer network and servers.

Teaching in the field of anthropology with a focus on skeletal anthropology, paleodermatoglyphics, anthropology of sexuality, art, death, and civil society. We specialize in a transdisciplinary science linking biological, medical, and cultural studies to the understanding of people and society.

The Institute provides teaching in Latin, Classical Philology, Classical and Modern Greek, Latin Medieval Studies and Classical Archaeology. It also specialises in ancient history, Latin language and literature and Mediterranean studies. We are involved in projects and publishing activities.
