Teaching medical biophysics to students in medical degree courses, undergraduate studies in basic physics, biophysics, bioenergetics, and graduate studies in medical instrumentation. We also provide preparatory courses focusing on basic concepts, laws of motion, gravitational fields or kinetic energy.

Members of the staff are students of all faculties of MU. The repertoire includes classical choral literature from the Renaissance to the present. We organize concerts and performances, participate in domestic and foreign choral festivals or national competitions.

Department preserves cultures of bacteria and fungi for basic and applied research, industrial use, biotechnology and teaching. Research focuses on the taxonomy of Gram-positive and Gram-negative rods or cocci, aquatic hyphomycetes. The collection contains strains of bacteria and filamentous fungi.

Teaching in religious studies with a focus on world religions and cultural studies of China. We cooperate with foreign universities. We do research in social sciences or the relationship between religion and visual media. We also specialize in publishing.

We provide education in the field of nursing. Teaching specializes in nursing procedures, human needs, first aid, education in nursing, and a comprehensive approach to senior skin care. It also deals with pre-hospital emergency care, research in nursing or emergency medicine.

Offering instruction in legal theory and legal history. The aim of the study is to deepen and develop the prerequisites for scientific and pedagogical work. Students will deepen their knowledge of basic legal concepts, institutions, categories, and related legal phenomena. The broader scientific basis of the field is state science.

Interfaculty department providing educational activities in applied data analysis and information technology applications for biological and clinical disciplines. The institute specializes in biological and clinical data analysis, clinical trial organization and management, or software development.

The department provides teaching in environmental studies and environmental humanities. The study specializes in issues from a social science perspective. It aims to understand the basic knowledge of the natural, historical and cultural sources of environmental crisis.

Teaching Czech language and literature, Czech grammar, development of written Czech, Czech dialectology. We offer study of lexicology, onomastics and other linguistic disciplines. We are involved in projects in the field of toponymy, bohemistics and computer science or linguistic use.

The department is active in the education of future chemists by providing instruction in physical chemistry, future chemistry teachers, and future ecologists and biologists. Teaching specializes in physical and quantum chemistry, chemical constitution and kinetics, electrochemistry, spectroscopy, or phase equilibria.

Operation of an administrative archive. Providing care for archival records arising from the University's activities. The archive acquires the personal funds of important scientific and pedagogical personalities or the written estates of Otakar Borůvka, František Trávníček, Ferdinand Herčík, Josef Šafařík, František Weyr and Vladislav Kruta.
