Univerzita Pardubice branches

The University of Pardubice has seven faculties with 7,000 undergraduate students. We offer bachelor's, master's and doctoral education and a choice of 150 fields of study and specializations in the natural, technical, social and economic sciences, arts and health fields.

The faculty includes departments of electrical engineering, information technology, mathematics and physics, process control or software technology. The faculty organises scientific research projects, professional conferences and seminars and publishes professional publications.

The laboratory conducts research in the field of interacting compounds, semiconducting glasses and thermoelectric materials. It has three research teams working in the areas of non-crystalline materials, layered semiconductors with tetradymite structure and chemistry of non-graphite intercalates.

The faculty consists of the departments of Transportation Informatics, Transportation Equipment and Diagnostics, Transportation Engineering, Transportation Technology and Management, Transportation Management, Marketing and Logistics or Mechanics, Materials and Parts Stands. In addition, the faculty includes specialist institutes, research centres and laboratories.

The faculty consists of the departments of nursing, midwifery and health and social work, clinical disciplines or informatics, management and radiology.

The faculty consists of the departments of analytical chemistry, inorganic technology, biological and biochemical sciences, economics and management of the chemical and food industry, physical chemistry, general and inorganic chemistry or polygraphy and photophysics. The faculty also includes specialist institutes and laboratories.

The Institute provides expert, educational and scientific research activities in the field of traffic accident analysis and the development of new procedures and methods for use in expert practice. The Institute deals with the fields of transport, engineering and economics. It organises professional courses, seminars and debates.

University library offering lending services, information education and five dedicated computer study rooms. A digital library is available. Scanners, color printers, self-service copiers are available. The library meets the requirements for scientific research and educational activities at the university.

The faculty consists of departments of chemical technology and humanities as well as studios of mural and sgraffito restoration, stone restoration, paper restoration, bookbinding and document restoration, and art on paper or fine art restoration. The faculty includes a center for restoration.
