The faculty consists of departments of chemical technology and humanities as well as studios of mural and sgraffito restoration, stone restoration, paper restoration, bookbinding and document restoration, and art on paper or fine art restoration. The faculty includes a center for restoration.

University library offering lending services, information education and five dedicated computer study rooms. A digital library is available. Scanners, color printers, self-service copiers are available. The library meets the requirements for scientific research and educational activities at the university.

The faculty includes departments of electrical engineering, information technology, mathematics and physics, process control or software technology. The faculty organises scientific research projects, professional conferences and seminars and publishes professional publications.

The Department of Biological and Biochemical Sciences (KBBV) is one of the largest departments of the Faculty of Chemical Technology. KBBV has been providing interdisciplinary education in laboratory diagnostic methods for thirty years with more than two thousand graduates from all over the country.

Teaching and research facilities dealing with the properties of building materials, construction of transport structures, geological and geotechnical influences on transport structures, theory of transport vehicles from the point of view of design, hydraulics, diagnostics, electrical and electrical engineering.

The Institute is a centre for research and teaching in macromolecular chemistry and technology, chemical fibre technology and textile chemistry. It is involved in teaching in bachelor and continuing master and doctoral degree programmes.

The laboratory brings together faculty departments to carry out load tests on bridges, determine the physical properties of soils, measure noise and vibration or determine the driving characteristics of rolling stock. It performs both non-accredited and accredited tests that assess the condition of road and rail bridges.

The institute provides teaching of general physics and mathematics. Possibility of bachelor, master and doctoral studies in combined and full-time form. We offer consultancy in spectral ellipsometry, X-ray and synchrotron technology, assessment and standardization in heating technology and other areas.

The institute provides studies in organic chemistry and organic matter technology. Research focuses on the study of the structure of coordination compounds, the behavior of tautomeric systems, small-molecule organic specialties, the study of higher molecular weight conjugates of selected drugs, and more.

The institute provides instruction in chemistry, engineering chemistry, food evaluation and analysis, chemical and process engineering, and environmental engineering. Opportunity to use the glass shop and metal working shop, cutting and joining tools are available.
