The university offers study programmes at nine faculties: the Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Applied Sciences, Design and Arts, the Faculty of Economics, Electrical Engineering, Philosophy, Education, Law, Engineering and Health Studies. ZČU also includes the Institute of Language Training and the NTC Research Institute.

Study at the University of the Third Age (U3V) of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen is part of the system of lifelong learning, i.e. outside the framework of regular full-time study offered by the university and is intended for interested seniors and people in ID who are interested in expanding their knowledge and intellectual activity.

The faculty, founded in 1990, is one of the nine faculties of the University of West Bohemia. Since the beginning of its existence it has been operating in two locations. It offers bachelor, master and doctoral degree programmes in the fields of management, marketing, finance, project management, information management and geography.

We consist of three departments - mathematics, technical education and physics. The staff of the department focuses on the preparation of future teachers for kindergartens and 1st and 2nd grade elementary schools. Teaching combines theoretical knowledge with its didactic application.

The faculty consists of the departments of physics, computer science and computer engineering, cybernetics, mathematics, mechanics and geomatics. We offer bachelor's, master's and doctoral degree programs. We also provide a research programme on New Technologies for Information Societies.

The Faculty of Arts is a modern and creative faculty, encompassing a diverse range of disciplines in the social sciences and humanities. The faculty plays an important role in the social and cultural space of the city of Pilsen, which is evident in the wide range of activities organised by its students and staff.

Consultancy on EU and other international educational projects, coordination of the ERASMUS+ programme, advice to foreign students, mediation of foreign contacts, information on scholarship opportunities abroad, organisation of a programme for foreign delegations.

The Faculty of Education is the oldest faculty of ZČU offering both teacher and non-teacher study programmes (Bachelor, Master, Continuing Master and Doctoral). It also provides further education for teaching staff, Children's University and offers a number of courses and programmes for the public.

The Faculty of Health Studies offers Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Orthotics-Prosthetics, General Nursing, Midwifery, Radiological Assisting, Paramedic, Laboratory Diagnostics in Health Care, General Nursing; Master of Science in Nursing.
