We consist of three departments - mathematics, technical education and physics. The staff of the department focuses on the preparation of future teachers for kindergartens and 1st and 2nd grade elementary schools. Teaching combines theoretical knowledge with its didactic application.

The Faculty of Arts is a modern and creative faculty, encompassing a diverse range of disciplines in the social sciences and humanities. The faculty plays an important role in the social and cultural space of the city of Pilsen, which is evident in the wide range of activities organised by its students and staff.

The Faculty of Law provides teaching through 11 departments, namely financial law and national economy, international, civil, commercial, administrative, criminal, constitutional and European law, labour and social security law, legal history, legal theory and public administration.

The Department carries out teaching, study, research and other activities. The main task is the preparation of teachers in the field of Teaching of Computer Science for primary schools.

The faculty, founded in 1990, is one of the nine faculties of the University of West Bohemia. Since the beginning of its existence it has been operating in two locations. It offers bachelor, master and doctoral degree programmes in the fields of management, marketing, finance, project management, information management and geography.
