The library is one of the smaller branches of the KJM and provides basic lending and information services to readers of all ages. It offers a good collection of books, magazines, spoken word CDs, didactic toys and aids, umbrellas and glasses. Organizes cultural and educational events for the public and programs for schools.

Since 2017, it has been part of KJM's network of automated operations. The branch actively cooperates with the local Studánka Kindergarten and didactic toys and aids are also available for loan.

The library is one of the main branches of the KJM and is located in the centre of the district near the Rubín Cultural Centre. It organises cultural and educational events for the general public, offering lectures, exhibitions and author readings, and cooperates with local kindergartens and primary schools, for which it implements educational programmes.
