The theatre is a symbol of the Czech nation. It was founded in 1868. Its repertoire consists of four artistic ensembles, namely Opera, Drama, Ballet and Laterna magika. The films Merry Christmas wishes the octopus, Divine Emma and Lord, you are a widow were filmed here.

We operate a repertory theatre with a permanent ensemble. We focus mainly on lesser-known titles. We tend towards the alternative, musical, puppet or cabaret genre. Orpheus is an amateur small theatre, characterized by an original and unique approach. Its manuscript is based on an original, mostly theatrical poetics, based on raw expression and grotesque stylization. At the Theatre of František Troníček, he organizes a series of drama and puppet performances for children called "Theatre for Children".

Theater offers performances for kindergartens, first grades of primary schools or community centers and small theaters. Performs variations on classic fairy tales. It has its own permanent stage.

We organize theatre performances, concerts, exhibitions and other cultural and social events in a hall with a capacity of about 100 people. We run a film club for children and adults.
