We are a space for contemporary theatre and other types of live art. We don't just work with existing dramatic texts, but support the creation of completely new plays. Everything we do is done with insight, self-irony, playfulness and humour.

We carry out tasks of independent competence of the municipality. We assist committees and commissions in their activities. We provide information to applicants. The studio stage is the home stage of the Little Theatre company operating under the South Bohemian Theatre. We perform mainly for young audiences, teenagers and children, specialising in alternative work and children's shows including puppet plays and original work.

Kámen Theatre is an intimate drama studio. The permanent ensemble focuses on plays inspired by the most contemporary Czech literature. The studio also hosts many guest performances.

Dramaturgy of the theatre is multi-genre. The modern equipped hall offers variable use for theatre, concerts and film projection, has a gallery and two bars. The space can be rented (corporate events, conferences, balls). The auditorium elevation can be removed and adapted to your specifications.

The theatre has a capacity of 195 seats.

Running an independent theatre venue with a regular rotation of companies. The theatre includes a 184-seat chamber hall and the Café Gaspar Kasper. The theatre has wheelchair access. The total capacity of the theatre is 150 seats plus 34 annexes. The repertoire also includes plays for children.
