Exhibiting works of art by prominent Moravian, Czech and foreign personalities from the late 19th century to the second third of the 20th century.

We are a contributory organization of the Moravian-Silesian Region, combining the mission of a regional museum and the administration of monuments, which are important immovable cultural monuments of northern Moravia - Bruntál Castle, Sovinec Castle and the mowing plant in Karlovice in Silesia. The museum is located in the Bruntál castle.

In our museum you can learn about the construction, form and functioning of the Olomouc fortress and about the preserved military objects in the city and its surroundings. There are photographs, military maps, archaeological finds and a plaster model of Olomouc as a fortress. The building of the war powder magazine is unique in the Czech Republic.

The town museum in the old town hall on the square in Úpice offers a permanent exhibition on the life of the Čapek family in Úpice, a gallery of paintings by Julia Winter Mezerová, an ethnographic exhibition, a collection of weapons and fragments from Vízmburk Castle. The Municipal Museum also operates the NKP DřeveĚNKA from the turn of the 16th and 17th centuries.

In the Neo-Renaissance building, short-term exhibitions and other cultural events are held. We offer tours of the villa for the public and group tours. Wedding ceremonies and other events can be arranged. Sale of publications and souvenirs.

We operate a museum focusing on education and education issues. In addition to the permanent exhibition, we also organise short-term exhibitions. We are a research centre focused on the history of Czech education, pedagogy, teaching and education in relation to the life, work and legacy of J. A. Comenius.

A permanent exhibition in the cultural centre building offers a glimpse of the film and book-like prehistoric scenery that became a common element in the life and work of E. Storch and K. Zeman.

We provide a tour of the Telč underground through an interactive educational exhibition in the cellars of the town.

The museum presents the life's work of the world-renowned filmmaker Karel Zeman and his film tricks that made Czech cinema famous in the 20th century. We operate a town museum, which includes exhibitions of ethnography, the 1775 Peasant Uprising, mining in the Podkrkonoše region and Rtyň music. The expositions include an educational trail through mining monuments.
