We operate a museum showing the history of the region from prehistory to the present day. We run an exhibition of town history and vernacular architecture with interpretation of the history. We exhibit collections, Czech toys and glass and other objects from the Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque, Enlightenment to the 19th and 20th centuries.
We offer a castle tour of the Pernštejn Residence - Renaissance in Bohemia, tours of the town (in the footsteps of the Pernštejn family, modern architecture) and the civil defence shelter. Visitors can visit temporary exhibitions and permanent exhibitions - archaeology, numismatics and glass.
We operate the Royal Mint Museum. The permanent exhibition is dedicated to the history of Jáchymov, examples of the mineral wealth of the Ore Mountains, silver mining with a moving model of mining activity.

The museum is housed in an architecturally valuable Art Nouveau villa with partially preserved interiors and offers historical and ethnographic exhibitions, the estate of the writer Karolina Světlá, a unique Gothic cabinet with stencil decoration and, in a separate exhibition, the Romanesque-Gothic premises of the former Johannine commandery.
