Mysterious underground cathedrals from 1874, 1894 and 1917, two brick and a third concrete water tower, unparalleled in Europe and breathtaking to visit! In the place where the Svratka River bites into the rocky peaks of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands, the construction of a massive castle began in the 13th century. The museum in Ivančice is one of the oldest regional museums in Moravia. The museum now welcomes visitors to the exhibition spaces at Oslavany Castle, where temporary exhibitions on a wide variety of topics are held throughout the year. Oslavany Castle also houses a permanent lapidarium exhibition.
