Průhonice Chateau in its present form is the result of a series of reconstructions of the originally medieval Gothic castle, built on a rocky promontory above the Botič stream. We operate a museum. We are engaged in exhibitions describing the history of the Kolín region. We collect, preserve and exhibit a large collection of archaeology, history, art history, ethnography and natural sciences. We provide expert services in these fields.

We offer a permanent exhibition of Tyniec stoneware in the museum.
