The oldest and largest puppet museum in the Czech Republic located in the beautiful historic Mydlář House. Permanent exhibition focused on puppetry in the Czech Republic and abroad. The Ostrava Museum is a municipal cultural institution that offers a unique view of the history and nature of Ostrava in a broader context through permanent exhibitions, current exhibitions and educational activities not only for school groups.

Visitors can, however, see the exhibition Houses Tell - the Architecture of Litoměřice, view the interiors of the old town hall or browse through an exhibition on its history and reconstruction in the arcade and courtyard of the museum.

A part of the zoological depository with stuffed birds, mammals, fish and amphibians and trophies from hunting expeditions is open to the public.

During the year we organize concerts and lectures. We offer the possibility of organizing wedding ceremonies. There are also rooms available for rent.
