The chateau with an Italian terraced garden is one of the most important Rococo buildings in Bohemia. A tour circuit in the west wing is open to the public, commemorating the fate of the last private owner, the family of the Swiss consul Gerold Déteindre. Pátek Castle was originally a summer palace built between 1544 and 1557 by John the Younger of Lobkowitz, one of the richest noblemen in the Czech Kingdom. It is one of the first purely Renaissance buildings in Bohemia. Towards the end of the 17th century it was rebuilt in Baroque style and surrounded by a farmyard.

The castle offers several tours for the whole family and kindergarteners, with a focus on historic carriages and clockworks from the collections of private collectors. We organize cultural and social events. Festive spaces can be rented. We provide wedding ceremonies with musical accompaniment.
