Provides healthcare for nearly 180,000 residents. Offers patients a comprehensive range of healthcare services in 24 wards and 55 specialist outpatient clinics including an inpatient pharmacy. There are 540 beds available for patients on a permanent basis. It holds the certificate of an accredited medical facility.

We operate an accredited mammography and radiodiagnostic workplace. We perform mammography and ultrasound examinations, ductography, biopsy and needle puncture. We have a Hologic Dimensions digital mammography machine.

The University Hospital is one of the largest medical facilities not only in East Bohemia but also in the whole Czech Republic. Over 41 thousand patients are hospitalized every year at 39 departments including 24 clinics with 1360 beds. 700 thousand patients are treated as outpatients.

We are a modern cancer treatment centre. We treat cancers of the prostate, breast, lung, head and neck, digestive tract, brain, lymphomas and tumors in children. We also offer MRI, PET/CT and preventive examinations for patients in our urology outpatient clinic.

Department provides care to inpatients and outpatients. Diagnostic examinations are carried out here according to the requirements of clinical departments and outpatient physicians using various imaging methods (conventional X-ray examinations, ultrasound, CT and MRI).

We operate a polyclinic. Allergy, anesthesiology, diabetes, gastroenterology, hepatic clinic or histology laboratory are available. We also provide services of surgery, internal medicine, cardiology, skin clinic, mammology, nephrology, neurology, orthopedics, ophthalmology or psychiatry.
