Preventive follow-up of patients with findings in which a possible malignant relapse cannot be excluded and regular follow-up of patients after treatment are integral parts of the service.

Provides comprehensive care - i.e., diagnosis and treatment of all forms of uveitis and surgery for complications associated with uveitis for patients throughout the Czech Republic. Conducts consultations for patients with complicated or unusual courses of intraocular inflammation for other ophthalmology departments in the Czech Republic as needed.
