We manage the original interior of the apartment of the Palacký and Rieger families. You will find here collections of art, historical and family portraits and paintings by Josef Mánes, Julius Mařák and sculptures by J. V. Myslbek.

The Museum is a cultural institution preserving a rich collection dedicated to Prague history, which it has accumulated during its existence. It currently manages eight buildings, which house both permanent exhibitions and temporary exhibitions. We organize special events for the public and children.

A children's programme is held in the hall every weekend. We offer mainly fairy tale theatre performances, art workshops. On weekdays it is also possible to book a morning educational programme for school groups. More information can be found on our website.

The Tábor Gate, today's entrance to the Vyšehrad area in the direction of Pankrác or Vyšehrad metro station, was built around 1640 to guard the access road to the Prague suburb from southern Bohemia via Tábor and Benešov.

We run an exhibition of Josef Sudek's work, located in his apartment. We manage exhibitions of Czech photography in the interwar period and the history of photographic pragensia from the mid-19th century to the present.

We take care of collections of Czech art of the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries, a number of public sculptures in Prague, including the sculptures of Charles Bridge. The exhibition programme is oriented towards the presentation of Czech and foreign art of the period and introducing the public to the work of contemporary artists.

The seat of the Bohemian monarchs, the seat of the chapter, a preserved Baroque fortress with long and dark casemates, the final resting place of Bohemian greats. The Museum of Memory of the XXth Century was founded in 2019 by the City of Prague. It organizes exhibitions, debates, seminars, conferences, historical walks and various events for schools. It is preparing a permanent exhibition devoted to Czechoslovakia and totalitarianism, which will open in the House of the Passion at Hradčany in 2026.
