We operate a literary museum. We provide protection of museum collections. We carry out scientific research. We acquire, permanently preserve, process and make accessible collections of documents on the development of literature in the Czech lands. We organize and art exhibitions and programs for the public. We offer space rentals.

The neoclassical palace-type house was built in 1845-1847. The painted decoration of the palace is one of the most important works of Czech mural painting of the mid-19th century. The Desfours Palace is closed for planned reconstruction.

Gallery includes publishing and publishing activities. Exhibition of works by Czech artists. Publishes graphic albums and lists of leading Czech artists. It also publishes publications, including monographs and catalogues.

The gallery was established in November 2009 and serves as a multifunctional space focused mainly on photography and new media.

The building is focused on the presentation of mainly Czech, but also world photography.

Exhibitions of art from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries are held in the building. In the eastern wing of the building there is a representative apartment of the Mayor of Prague furnished in the Art Deco style.

Shopping centre in a historic building. Three floors of shops with designer fashion, fashion accessories, jewellery, hairdresser, cafe, restaurant, currency exchange and other services. The basement houses the largest music megastore in Europe. The palace is an outstanding work of Czech modern architecture with a unique octagon.

We organize pilgrimages to memorial sites in the Czech Republic and abroad. We support the St. James pilgrimage route and other pilgrimages with information, organization and material.

We hold regular Christmas shows. We exhibit products made from wood, natural materials, stone, ceramics, paper, textiles, metal, glass, gingerbread and dough. We sell souvenirs.
