The chateau was built between 1548 and 1565.In the 18th century, during the reign of Albert of Hodice, it was rebuilt in Baroque style and a park was created. Currently, there is one historical tour circuit in the castle and the other circuit is a regional museum. Cultural and social events are held here.

We offer tours of the castle. The first written mention of Valtice dates back to 10 January 1193, when Bishop Wolfger of Passau exchanged the castle with Wichard of Seefeld. Between 1586 and 1596, the original water fortress was rebuilt into a Renaissance single-storey chateau. This was done under Bernard Ludwig Tovar of Enczesfeld. It is possible to organize weddings.

Tours of the Empire chateau. Originally a landowner's fortress rebuilt in the 16th century under the Tvorkovskis of Kravaře into a Renaissance chateau with three arcaded wings, accompanied by a farm yard, brewery and a large mixed forest park with four ponds. Possibility of organizing weddings.

The castle is one of the oldest castles in Bohemia and is still owned by the Sternberg family, who founded it in 1241.
