Klášterec nad Ohří Castle with its park is part of the town's conservation area in the centre of the old town. It is located on the left bank of the Ohře River in a ten-hectare English park from the 1820s and 1870s, with 150 species of trees from all over the world. Tours of the castle. According to local findings, a Great Moravian hillfort existed near the castle in the 8th - 9th century. The castle was an important stronghold of the Přemyslids. It was built on a narrow rocky promontory about 70 m above the level of the Želetavky River. It is possible to organize weddings, corporate events and celebrations.

The listed building of the pseudo-Gothic chateau has been the seat of the museum since 2002. The pride of the chateau is the Chapel of St. Andrew from the middle of the 19th century with paintings by J. V. Hellich. The chateau includes a 4.8 ha park. The castle houses permanent exhibitions of regional history.

The first mention of Hrádek dates back to 1298. The building has undergone a rich architectural development. Elements of Renaissance, Baroque and Classicism are still visible today.
