The Baroque chateau was built under Jan Antonín Vratislav of Mitrovice in 1719-23 by rebuilding the original Renaissance fortress. It is a rectangular two-storey building with a mansard roof, a turret and a balcony. The castle also includes a small park. Currently, the main wing of the castle is open to the public. It is used for weddings.

Orlík is a castle converted into a chateau near the village of Orlík nad Vltavou in the district of Písek in the South Bohemia Region. It is located on a rock promontory above the Vltava River, whose valley is flooded by the water of the Orlické Dam. The castle grounds are protected as a cultural monument.
