In a building from the 16th century we run a small museum dedicated to the history of the vanished Podskalí, the life of its inhabitants and the Vltava voyage. The exhibition also shows the history of freight and passenger shipping on the Vltava and the beginnings of Vltava steam navigation. There is also a restaurant in the building.

The museum is located in the building of the former Magdeburg Barracks, which served as the headquarters of the so-called Jewish Self-Government during the ghetto era. Today, this building houses extensive exhibitions presenting to the public the unique artistic, musical, literary and theatrical works of the ghetto inhabitants.

The Mahen Memorial is a unique multifunctional place and was created not only as a reminder of the life and work of Jiří Mahen, but also as a realization of his ideas about the library as a cultural and community centre. We provide a tour of the Telč underground through an interactive educational exhibition in the cellars of the town.
