We are engaged in the management and exhibition of collections and objects in the field of social and natural sciences not only of Central Moravia, but also of the wider area with overlapping abroad.

The chateau houses a permanent exhibition dedicated to the early years of Smetana's work. It also commemorates other composers who were born in the region over the centuries, such as Jan Dismas Zelenka, Josef Leopold Dukát and Josef Suk, or who visited and worked in the region - Richard Wagner, Gustav Mahler and others.

The Jemnice Museum. The exhibition “Life on the Border” offers a glimpse into places where Czech, German, and Jewish cultures intermingle, and where national, state, and regional borders lie nearby.
