A public benefit society founded by Zdeněk Svěrák and the Svaz Svaz paraplegiků civic association. Since 1994 it has been helping people in wheelchairs after spinal cord injury and their families to cope with difficult life situation. The main service is residential social rehabilitation.

Our activities include organizing workshops, seminars on issues concerning persons with disabilities and persons caring for a disabled family member, assisting persons caring for a disabled family member, counseling, assisting persons with disabilities with returning to a full life.

We are an NGO that seeks to use our own experience of mental illness in a meaningful way to help others. We run 10 centres - counselling centres in the country, conduct talks in schools, parishes, publish information materials, directory of services, engage in conceptual work.

We provide an offer of help to people with multiple sclerosis in the form of medical rehabilitation and social counselling. We specialise in providing members meetings and convalescent stays.

Providing services to people with severe physical disabilities. We focus on information systems, leisure and educational activities and mapping and removing architectural barriers. We organize a special wheelchair route of the Prague - Prčice March and organize the national sports event Hvězda.

ERGO Aktiv, o. p. s. is a neurorehabilitation centre that helps mostly younger people after a stroke, head injury or other brain damage. We use modern methods to support the return to active life and increase the self-sufficiency of our clients.

The main aims of the society are to organise meetings and educational and recreational visits for patients and their families, to create a list of manufacturers and suppliers of aids suitable for CMT patients and more.

We help and support member organisations to promote the interests of patients. We offer unique research and focus on improving the quality and accessibility of health services, including digital medicine.
