We organize solar eclipse expeditions, offer astronomical information and observe comets, meteors or the moon. We offer courses in mirror grinding and building astronomical telescopes.

We operate an observatory, which has a telescope with a diameter of 500 mm and a spectroheliscope with image transmission to a monitor. The observatory has a receiving station for geostationary and polar meteorological satellites. We receive images from Meteosat geostationary satellites and NOAA polar satellites.

We also focus on the conservation of the gene pools of fruit crops, the study of the effect of rootstocks on grafted varieties, the development of methods of biological and integrated conservation of fruit trees and fruit planting projects.

We run a cabinet dealing with research in theatre and drama theory. We focus on the documentation and analysis of the work of Brno studio theatres, issues of performativity, analysis of production in theoretical terms or stage design.
