The museum presents the life's work of the world-renowned filmmaker Karel Zeman and his film tricks that made Czech cinema famous in the 20th century. The museum is unique in its playful and interactive concept - offering you the opportunity to get involved. Photography and filming are recommended.

We offer exhibitions, lectures and other events at the National Museum. There is a cloakroom, a café, a children's corner and a shop with publications. The building is wheelchair accessible. We provide access to the exhibition with a pram.

We manage the original interior of the apartment of the Palacký and Rieger families. You will find here collections of art, historical and family portraits and paintings by Josef Mánes, Julius Mařák and sculptures by J. V. Myslbek.

We operate a synagogue which you will find in close proximity to the Old Jewish Cemetery. We offer exhibitions of Jewish traditions and customs. In its time it was the largest synagogue in the ghetto.

The Steel Mannequin Gallery is an exhibition of handmade, recycled exhibits inspired by heroes from fairy tales and science fiction films, as well as celebrities, animals and automobiles.
