The Department guarantees, within the Bachelor's degree programme Economics and Management, the Bachelor's degree in Economics of Tourism. Within the Bachelor's degree programme Gastronomy, Hotel Management and Tourism, the Department guarantees the specialisation Hotel Management. These courses are taught in full-time form.

It is a professional bachelor's degree course whose main mission is to educate qualified graduates who will apply themselves in the field of accommodation and catering services and the implementation of leisure activities, especially in the spa and tourism industry.

The institute mainly provides teaching programmes in bachelor's and master's studies in English, German and Italian, including in combination with other subjects studied at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. His research focuses on research in the field of linguistics.

Lessons in archaeology. The institute organizes international conferences, has intensive domestic and foreign cooperation, in addition to teaching it also develops extensive scientific activities.
