The department provides orientation in the growing field of cultural and social processes associated with information and communication technologies.

We provide instruction in all forms of spa medicine.

We provide instruction in immunology and immunopathology for all majors and faculty programs.

The faculty provides undergraduate and postgraduate medical studies in full-time and combined form.

We provide master's degree programs with an emphasis on education to achieve a versatile and complete legal education. We provide the possibility of doctoral studies or the provision of a state rigorosis examination.

The Department provides training for supervisors and managers for middle and senior management in the provision of health and social services. We are engaged in research activities with a focus on applied research in the field of provision of social and health services for the elderly in the Czech Republic.

We organize training programs for Czech and foreign candidates, corporate training and distance learning. We provide post-secondary preparatory courses, Czech language teaching for foreigners or courses for preparation for internationally recognized certificates in foreign languages. We conduct international exams TOEIC, TFI and WiDaF.

We provide teaching of Bachelor's degree courses in East European Studies and Russian Language and Literature, follow-up Master's degree courses in East European Studies or doctoral degree courses in Slavic Philology and Slavic Literature.

Providing foreign language instruction for students. We focus on linguistics, translation issues or the creation of teaching materials and methodologies. We provide preparatory courses for foreign language exams.

We provide teaching for postgraduate studies in neuroscience and conduct research activities focusing on membrane properties and functions of glial cells or the origin, mechanisms and pathophysiology of ionic changes in the extracellular space as well as studies in transgenic animals.
