We provide teaching for three-year single and double major undergraduate courses and two-year single major masters courses in theatre studies. We conduct research focused on the study of the theory and history of theatre and drama or on the history of modern Czech theatre.

Providing instruction in medical ethics or medical psychology and introduction to philosophical issues related to medicine. We provide observation of the psychological preconditions for ethical action and analysis of irrational motives for moral and political attitudes.

We provide instruction in musicology in both undergraduate and graduate degree programs. We are engaged in publishing activities.

We provide instruction in theology, social work and philosophy in undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs. The faculty is based on personal relationships, mutual dialogue and high professionalism. It offers classical studies in evangelical theology, social work studies and ecumenical theology.

We provide library and bibliographic information services. We offer support for the presentation of the results of scientific research activities of the staff of the 3rd Faculty of Medicine of Charles University. We provide reprographic, research and reference services for students and faculty staff. We provide consulting and advisory services.

We provide instruction in subjects in biophysics and medical informatics. We are engaged in publishing activities.

We provide tuition in Political Science at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level. We participate in the teaching of the Bachelor's program in Political Science-International Relations. We are engaged in research activities focusing on decentralisation processes or local and regional politics.

We teach German, Scandinavian and Dutch studies in the Bachelor's, Master's and Doctoral programmes. We are engaged in research and publishing activities. We organize professional conferences and workshops.
