The faculty provides study programmes in the fields of biology, biochemistry, chemistry, geography, demography, geology or ecology and environmental protection in bachelor's, master's and doctoral programmes in full-time and combined form.

The faculty provides a bachelor's degree program in medical bioanalytics, a master's degree program in pharmacy and related doctoral degree programs. Full-time or combined studies are offered. We are engaged in a program on drug development and study.

We provide instruction in bioethics and philosophy of medicine or medical psychology and psychotherapy for all faculty students. We are engaged in research activities focusing on research in psychophysiology and cognitive neuroscience as well as research in ethics.

We provide physiology tuition at undergraduate and postgraduate level. We are engaged in research activities with a focus on pulmonary vascular physiology.

We teach philosophy, history of philosophy, logic, epistemology, ontology, metaphysics, history of art and history of contemporary philosophy.

We provide teaching of the BSc Health Laboratory Technician and BSc Histology and Histological Techniques or teaching of MSc Histology and Embryology and Developmental Biology as well as teaching of PhD Biology and Cell Pathology and Experimental Surgery.

We provide undergraduate instruction in the subjects of forensic medicine and toxicology for students in the fields of General Medicine and Dentistry. We are engaged in scientific activities with a focus on pathomorphology, forensic traumatology and forensic toxicology.

Provide full service for conducting short and long term experiments to all faculty.
