The library belongs to the smaller branches of the KJM and is located on the second floor of the Slatinka service complex. On the first floor there is a return box for books. In addition to the book collection, the branch also offers spoken word CDs, toys and didactic aids, umbrellas and glasses.

The library belongs to the smaller branches of the KJM and its operation is realized in cooperation with the Cabinet of Information Studies and Librarianship of the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University in Brno, for whose students it serves as a teaching workplace. The branch is not a part of the KJM network of automated operations.

For the public, it organises talks, author readings and theatre performances. Its greatest asset is the library garden, which is used year-round for relaxation and programs for children and adults.

Offering a public specialty library service focusing on nursing, medical and non-medical literature. We provide lending, research and bibliographic information services. There is an on-line catalogue and access to specialist information databases.

The library is one of the main branches of the KJM. The universal collection of beautiful and educational literature is complemented by extensive genre sections and audiobooks. We also offer four computers with internet, wi-fi, an online catalogue, an interactive table, a reading/study room, Family Point, relaxation areas or a separate lounge.
