The KJM Central Library offers a large selection of beautiful and educational literature, periodicals, AV media and music, services for blind and visually impaired readers, internet and electronic databases. It also lends e-books, readers, board games, toys, didactic aids, etc. It organises cultural and educational events for the public.

The library belongs to the smaller branches of the KJM and cooperates with local kindergartens and primary schools, for which it implements educational programmes. It is involved in projects to promote children's reading, and organises cultural and educational events for the public, exhibitions of artwork and pupils' work, and regular competitions for children and adults.
