Offering library services with a focus on earth science publications from around the world in both print and electronic formats. Free internet access is available.

The library belongs to the core branches of the KJM and is also widely used by visitors from other automated KJM facilities due to its high quality collection. It cooperates with local kindergartens and primary schools, for which it organises thematic talks and educational programmes, cultural and educational events and exhibitions for the public.

The library belongs to the medium-sized branches of the KJM, is situated on two floors and offers, among other things, a large children's section with a reading corner and a lounge with audiovisual equipment. The modern, cosy premises are adapted to the needs of talks and accompanying programmes in order to create a community space.
