The library belongs to the medium-sized branches of the KJM, it is located on the ground floor of the Brno-Vinohrady Municipal Council building and has barrier-free access. It has a separate department for adult and children readers, it implements educational programmes for schools and organises a number of cultural and educational events for the general public.

Operation of a library providing scientific information services to hospital staff or medical students. Arranges to borrow scholarly journals from other libraries and makes copies of articles from scholarly information materials.

The library is one of the smaller branches of the KJM and provides basic lending and information services to readers of all ages. There is a children's corner for parents with children, and children can borrow toys by attendance or absentee. The branch also offers Albi books, spoken word CDs and umbrellas.
