We bring together professionals in the field of prevention, treatment and research of disorders caused by harmful use of substances and other harmful habits. Membership is open to physicians, pharmacists, or other health and allied professionals.

Our mission is to directly support people with lived experience of mental illness to live in their natural environment, in the family, in the workplace, in close contact with their immediate environment, in collaboration with professionals from health, social services, employment, education and leisure.

We provide assistance and support to people in an unfavourable social situation and who have reduced self-sufficiency, mainly due to age, whose situation requires regular assistance from another natural person. We offer services in the field of social care and prevention.

We are engaged in promoting the development of research in the field of psychiatry. We organize educational events or conferences and seminars. Membership is open to physicians, pharmacists, or other workers in health care and related fields.
