This Renaissance chateau built in the 16th century is located on the left bank of the Vltava River, 35 km from Prague. Today it houses a museum with an important part of the Lobkowicz collections. The historic halls, courtyards and gardens are used year-round for private and corporate events, educational programs and festivals.

The Slovak Strela Depository is a unique place where the legendary Slovak Strela engine set is exhibited. It can be found opposite the entrance to the Tatra Truck Museum in Kopřivnice.

The Baroque chateau was built in 1721 and forms a valuable whole with the Gothic church and the Classicist rectory. Visit the castle tours with an exhibition on the history of the estate and the unique black kitchen, the agricultural museum and the castle park with a bowling alley and valuable trees. The current exposition of the museum (formerly called the Tatra Technical Museum) consists of a typologically compact collection of passenger cars, with which the Tatra automobile company made its mark in the world history of automotive engineering in the 20th century.

Organisation of cultural programmes. In addition to the seasonal exhibitions, there are two exhibitions: loans of original Turnov decorations on Torah scrolls from the Jewish Museum in Prague and archaeological findings from the medieval house that used to stand on the site of the synagogue.
