We are engaged in providing registry offices and population registration. We manage the lost and found agenda including animals. We provide organization and preparation of elections, verified outputs from the public administration information system Czech POINT.

Providing construction legal activities of the city.

We carry out testing of drivers within the framework of improving the professional and professional competence of drivers, we decide on the issuance of registration to operate driving schools, we carry out the performance of state professional supervision in matters of acquiring and improving professional competence to drive motor vehicles.

It carries out the complete agenda in the field of civil registration. Maintains registry books and collections of documents. The Department exercises delegated competence in the field of social services, social and legal protection of children, persons at risk of social exclusion, and ensures the agenda of the Roma advisor. It assists in overcoming unfavourable living situations, cooperates with state authorities, educational establishments and other institutions.

We also focus on social and legal protection of children, social counselling and prevention, arranging social funerals, registration of applications for nursing homes and more.

The Department carries out all activities in the area of management of the city's financial resources, including budgets and analyses, accounting, tax and fee administration, and in the area of water and property law within the scope of the authority conferred by the relevant regulations.

The Department issues a zoning decision on the location of a building or facility, a building permit and a consent to carry out a notified project. It registers and stores documentation, decides on expropriation, orders necessary security works and carries out inspections.

The office provides civil registry and population registration. It ensures the elections to the representative bodies in terms of material and technical aspects, the organization of the census of population, houses and apartments, the authorization of cultural, sports and other events. It manages the agenda of social and legal protection of children and family care.
