We are engaged in providing registry offices and population registration. We manage the lost and found agenda including animals. We provide organization and preparation of elections, verified outputs from the public administration information system Czech POINT.

The Department exercises delegated competence in the field of social services, social and legal protection of children, persons at risk of social exclusion, and ensures the agenda of the Roma advisor. It assists in overcoming unfavourable living situations, cooperates with state authorities, educational establishments and other institutions.

Issues planning and building permits, building permits and notices for the notification of small buildings, alterations and maintenance works. Inspects and maintains urban greenery. Supervises the post-monitoring of the Horky landfill site and ensures the collection of hazardous waste. Declares protection zones.

We provide activities related to issues of elections, identity cards, travel documents, population registration, offences and civil registry. We also focus on invalid documents, issuance of civil registry documents, marriage and registered partnership, citizenship and other services.

We provide administration in education and leisure activities. Within its remit, the department provides for the welcoming of citizens and congratulations on life anniversaries, drafts general binding ordinances, cooperates in the management of cultural events in the city, ensures compliance with the Copyright Act, etc.

Care for disabled citizens and social protection of children. We deal with minority issues. We keep records of the city's property in the field of health and social affairs.

Providing construction and legal activities of the city. The department performs state administration in delegated competence in the field of spatial planning and building regulations according to the Building Act.

Providing cultural activities of the city.

We deal with traffic offences and issuing driving licences.

It carries out the complete agenda in the field of civil registration. Maintains registry books and collections of documents. It issues certificates of civil registry events, authorises access to civil registry books and collections of documents, decides on requests for change of name or surname, arranges wedding ceremonies, and conducts administrative proceedings in the civil registry department.

Offering building authority services. We handle building notifications, building permit applications, notices of occupancy or early occupancy. We also deal with removal of notices, notices of change of use of building and much more.

Providing registry and population registration. Offering certification of signatures and documents, extracts from the criminal record. We also focus on social and legal protection of children, social counselling and prevention, arranging social funerals, registration of applications for nursing homes and more.

We carry out testing of drivers within the framework of improving the professional and professional competence of drivers, we decide on the issuance of registration to operate driving schools, we carry out the performance of state professional supervision in matters of acquiring and improving professional competence to drive motor vehicles.

City Management. Preparation of the City budget and monitoring compliance with the budget, preparation of documents related to the City's management for City Council and City Council meetings, maintenance of revenue records. We also provide payroll and tax administration, levies and fees, treasury management and debt collection.
