The Department manages and maintains playgrounds, sports grounds, urban greenery, public lighting, traffic signs and traffic lights, local roads, purpose built roads, cycle paths, car parks, burial grounds, minor monuments, information technology, provides disposal and collection of municipal waste

Creation and implementation of the concept of care for all components of the environment of the city. We take care of the citywide registration of green areas. We also ensure the protection of nature, landscape, air and agricultural land, water and waste management.

Offering building authority services. We handle building notifications, building permit applications, notices of occupancy or early occupancy. We also deal with removal of notices, notices of change of use of building and much more.

Provides social care, assistance in material need and social and legal protection of children. Decides on social benefits and allowances. Provides social counselling and assistance in exercising rights. Handles the agenda of school establishments in relation to the founder.

The department provides construction and legal activities of the city. The office handles state historic preservation, zoning, and maintains a filing and administrative department. It is responsible for the care of war graves and cultural monuments. It checks the timeliness of planning documentation and initiates amendments.

The department provides self-government activities in the field of education (for pre-school facilities, schools and school facilities established by the town of Česká Lípa), culture and sport. Preparation and adjustment of the budget, management control, changes in the register of schools and school establishments, administration of subsidy programmes.

Management of the city's economy. We provide work on the preparation of the draft budget, monitor and evaluate its implementation, arrange activities related to the financing of the city district or contributory organizations.

We are engaged in providing registry offices and population registration. We manage the lost and found agenda including animals. We provide organization and preparation of elections, verified outputs from the public administration information system Czech POINT.

Management of residential and non-residential premises and immovable property of the city and the preparation or implementation of any disposal of these assets. The department includes a property and building management department, a technical services and municipal waste management department and a filing and mailroom department.

Providing construction and legal activities of the city. The department performs state administration in delegated competence in the field of spatial planning and building regulations according to the Building Act.

It carries out the complete agenda in the field of civil registration. Maintains registry books and collections of documents. It issues certificates of civil registry events, authorises access to civil registry books and collections of documents, decides on requests for change of name or surname, arranges wedding ceremonies, and conducts administrative proceedings in the civil registry department.

City management. Provides the City's accounting and financial reporting, handles payments with banking institutions, and monitors budget expenditures. The department also includes the Taxes, Fees and Accounts Receivable Division. It audits grant settlements and manages the raffle agenda, etc.
