We offer warehousing and customs services, domestic and tax warehouses. We provide archiving and shredding services and document management. We operate a commercial filing room and a pooled archive.

We operate the administrative archive of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs.

We take care of nearly 1,000 linear metres of documentation, including not only historical and technical files or personal and legal records, but also archival materials, which are divided into 117 fonds and collections. We have a research room open to the public.

We take into archival care and preserve archival materials arising from the official and professional activities of the National Library, the holdings of other institutions, the personal holdings of eminent persons and collections. The fonds and collections are sorted, organized, inventoried and catalogued.

We provide pre-archival care and shredding services in the area of our operation. We focus on the processing, recording and accessing of archival records. We preserve archival units documenting the development of Czech literature from the end of the 18th century to the present.

The archives administers the central filing cabinet, prepares for the selection of archives in the shredding procedure, and carries out professional care and processing of archival holdings and collections. It provides certificates, extracts, copies and research. It carries out research activities in the field of church history and provides access to documents.
