Prehistoric Archaeopark is for the general public, families, school trips, tourists and those interested in archaeology. The aim is to introduce visitors to life in prehistoric times through so-called living archaeology.

The first written record dates back to 1238. The town is situated at an altitude of 284 metres. We have a car camp, a museum, a theatre group, a kindergarten and a primary school and an athletic stadium. We organize sports and cultural events.

The Museum of Broumov Region was founded in 1945 as a centre for the patrimonial work of the then Broumov district. Since 1980, it has been housed on the 1st floor of the Abbey wing of the Benedictine monastery, where a permanent exhibition called "History of Broumov and Broumov Region" was installed ten years later.

The museum offers an overview of the development of lace from the 18th century to the present day. The exhibition is located on three floors of the listed Bednář Villa. Individual tours begin with a film and are unguided. A guide is available for larger groups.

We offer a tour of the oldest house in Opočno from the 17th century and an exhibition about the history of the town.

A cross-sectional exhibition documenting the development of firefighting technology in the Czech lands from roughly the mid-19th century to the second half of the 20th century.

Operation of the war museum. There is an exposition of the 1st and 2nd World War, the Prusso-Austrian War and the Czechoslovak First Republic. Documentation of aircraft crashes from World War II. Processed aircraft crashes from archives with interpretation and fragments from the crash sites.

Operation of the exhibition of collections of medicines and pharmaceutical products. The museum can also serve the educational needs of pharmacy schools. The exhibition also contains collections of photographs, posters, advertising prints and pharmaceutical diplomas.

In the premises of the former agricultural cooperative, a rural museum was built from the donations of fellow citizens. There are historical exhibitions of agriculture, crafts, laundry, spinning, spinning, sewing, ABC paper models, cribs, rimmed floors, retro exhibition, toy shop and military history exhibition.

Visitors can see an exhibition presenting the existence of the Jewish community in Podorlicek. In one of the local Jewish families in Rychnov n. K., the writer and journalist Karel Poláček, author of the book There Were Five of Us, was born in 1892.

We operate a listed site of original vernacular architecture. The environment is suitable for folk festivals, exhibitions, fairs and social events with accompanying folklore programme. We allow wedding receptions, family celebrations and corporate events.

The exhibition dedicated to Czech tramping draws on the collection of Jiří Fred Jedlička.

Here you can admire an extensive and varied collection of air rifles from the 18th century, which were used for military, entertainment or hunting purposes. In addition to air rifles and targets, there is also an exhibition of orders and decorations and a collection of knives from the 18th century.
