We provide follow-up therapeutic, rehabilitation, nursing and palliative care mainly to patients of the Ostrava University Hospital. Social care beds are also operated on the premises of the Hospital for the Long-term Ill. We provide complex treatment procedures aimed at improving the self-care and mobility of patients.

It provides superconsular care for patients referred by a specialist ophthalmologist and forms the gateway to the inpatient part of the clinic.

The ward has 6 beds with instrumentation and personnel to provide complex resuscitation and intensive care.

We accept patients whose condition does not allow outpatient treatment or patients who prefer hospitalization for various reasons (due to their place of residence). The clinic has a total of 66 beds.

We provide comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic care for immature and premature newborns with eye and adnexal disorders of various causes. The primary focus of the specialty clinic is comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic care for immature newborns with retinopathy of prematurity.

Operation of a pharmacy. We provide specialised pharmacy care to individual clinics, departments and specialist outpatient clinics of the University Hospital. We carry out the dispensing and purchasing of medicines, pharmaceutical raw materials, diagnostics and cytotoxic substances from wholesale distributors and manufacturers.

We run a child psychological outpatient clinic. Management of child somatic illness by psychological means, management of family and family members. Crisis intervention, acute psychotherapy, supportive intervention for the child and more.

We ensure the preparation of suitable erythrocyte transfusion products for recipients with complicated immunohematological findings as part of a complete pre-transfusion examination (group AB0, RhD and irregular anti-erythrocyte antibodies in the recipient, cross-testing).

In addition to routine dermatological care in its entirety, including the examination and treatment of venereal diseases, the outpatient clinic provides dispensary care for patients with a diagnosis of melanoma and at-risk non-melanoma skin cancers in close cooperation with the Skin Tumour and Pigmented Nevian Tumour Clinic and the Melanoma Clinic.

In the centre we diagnose headaches and provide dispensary care and treatment for patients with primary headaches (migraine, tension headaches, cluster headache) and some types of secondary headaches (e.g. headaches from overuse of analgesics).
