It provides comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic care for patients with neuromuscular transmission disorders. Our patients receive consultation and care from a thoracic surgeon.

We process collected samples of biological material and prepare slides. This is the most time-consuming part of the autopsy, which is therefore usually completed three to four weeks apart.

A specialized department of the internal medicine clinic that provides care for patients with acute conditions in internal medicine. It has a special focus on diseases of the kidney and urinary system, including a kidney transplant program.

In the outpatient clinic for zoonoses (infectious diseases acquired from animals), we monitor patients of all ages, with special attention to pregnant women. These are mainly patients with toxoplasmosis, toxocariasis or felinosis (cat scratch disease).

We deal with the diagnosis and treatment of neurologically ill children from newborn and then infant age up to and including 19 years of age. We are the only inpatient facility in the field of child neurology in the Moravian-Silesian region and the surrounding area.

Operation of the skin department. We focus on the treatment of skin and venereal diseases. We perform dermato-surgical procedures, diagnosis of pigmented manifestations and skin tumours, occupational skin diseases and treatment of lymphoedema and disorders of the venous system of the lower limbs associated with tibial ulcers.

We operate a pediatric pulmonology outpatient clinic. We focus on congenital, recurrent and chronic diseases of the respiratory system in patients under 18 years of age. We provide comprehensive care for children with cystic fibrosis.

We provide systemic and local application of chemotherapy for patients with ovarian cancer, preoperative combined chemotherapy for bulky cervical cancer, allowing subsequent radical surgical treatment.

Diagnosis and treatment of diseases treatable with botulinum toxin, including facial nerve hemispasm, extrapyramidal hyperkinesis including torticollis spastica, cervical dystonia, hemispasm, blepharospasm, graphospasm and spasticity.
