The institute provides teaching in the fields of Construction Realization, Construction Management and Construction Materials Engineering. It is focused on the areas of construction process technology, construction machinery and mechanisation in construction, pre-production and production preparation of construction, planning and management of construction implementation.

The institute provides bachelor, master and doctoral studies in the fields related to the construction and operation of automobiles, tractors, internal combustion engines, transport and construction machinery. The Institute also focuses on the design, numerical simulation and verification of the dynamics of internal combustion engines and motor vehicles.

The institute provides instruction in the construction, design, building, control, operation and diagnostics of machine tools, industrial robots and manipulators and the production systems made from them.
