The Institute of School Education offers teaching in the fields of teaching for kindergarten and vocational subjects for secondary schools. It sponsors bachelor's and postgraduate courses in the Specialization in Education programme.

We provide higher education in selected technological fields. Graduates can find employment from operational technologists, through leadership and management positions in industry, research and government to independent business or scientific activity.

Operation of a research facility focusing on school education in a broader educational context, research in philology, nursing and selected clinical disciplines on an interdisciplinary basis.

The institute participates in the educational and scientific research activities of the faculty in the field of automatic control from theory to real solutions of control systems. Specific solutions are directed to the control of technologies for the processing of secondary raw materials, which are also successfully developed and implemented at the institute.

The institute provides teaching in the fields of Social Pedagogy at the bachelor's and postgraduate level in full-time and combined form and Andragogy in the profile of human resources management in the non-profit sphere at the bachelor's level in combined form.

The activities of the institute are oriented in the field of science, applied research and related activities. It focuses in particular on the implementation of applied research and development, the provision of professional services related to the preparation, management, evaluation and monitoring of project results.

The department provides teaching of basic mathematics for all degree courses at the university.

The Institute guarantees the teaching of logistics subjects profiling students in the Bachelor's degree programme in Economics and Management of the study programme Logistics and Management. Graduates of this course are able to manage small and medium-sized organisations independently, including the appropriate application of logistics systems.
