The Institute provides teaching of theoretical subjects in all fields of study of the Engineering Informatics degree programmes of both degrees (B.Sc., M.Sc.) and in the Security Technologies, Systems and Management degree programme.

In our activities, we are dedicated to the development of humanities-oriented fields of study, especially philology, pedagogy and other social sciences, selected medical fields, as well as creative activities related to these fields.

The study is aimed at gaining knowledge and artistic insight in the field, developing creative design techniques, working closely with industrial production and, last but not least, completing the work professionally. Creative projects carried out under the guidance of a teacher are an essential part of the course.

Classes focus on marketing communication, the preparation and creation of promotional materials and basic journalistic skills.

Within our study programmes, we combine the technological and managerial aspects of process and industrial solutions to set up, improve and innovate production and administrative processes. The Institute is the guarantor of all three levels of higher education in the field of Industrial Engineering.

The Institute provides instruction in technical subjects for the study of Safety Technology. It participates in the teaching of electrical engineering subjects in bachelor and master studies of the Automation and Control Engineering study programme within the Chemical and Process Engineering study programme.

The Institute provides teaching in the field of financial accounting, financial mathematics, management accounting, insurance and taxation. It offers teaching in 3-year Bachelor's and 2-year Master's degree programmes. Its research activities focus on the sources of corporate finance.

Ústav zabezpečuje výuku v oblasti statistiky, kvantitativních metod, informační podpory pro manažerské rozhodování a v oblasti projektového řízení. Nabízí bakalářské, magisterské a doktorské studijní programy.

The Cabinet is a workplace for theoreticians who have fallen under the spell of design, film, photography, architecture, low and high expressions of visual culture and art. As teachers, they teach courses in theoretical foundations and introduce students to visual studies.
