The Centre represents a dynamic opportunity for further development of research and development in the Zlín region in the field of applied informatics, security technologies and alternative energy sources.

The Institute is the guarantor of the Bachelor's degree programme (full-time and combined form) in Technology of production of fats, cosmetics and detergents and the Master's degree programme (full-time form) in Technology of fats, detergents and cosmetics.

The institute focuses on the technical development of modern mobile computing and communications and the convergence of the two disciplines.

The studio offers training in a wide range of animation techniques. Students are introduced to creative approaches in the production of animated etudes, spots, jingles, music videos and original films. They learn how to analyze, dramaturgically and scriptwriting the material and bring it to its final form, including post-production.

The main activity of the institute is the education of students in bachelor's degree programs focused on nursing, midwifery and health and social care. Students undertake internships in various clinical settings.

The department develops and professionally guarantees studies in bachelor and master courses focused on regional development and public administration, while closely cooperating with other faculty departments involved in teaching in these fields.

Running a studio focusing on clothing design. Strong emphasis is placed on developing conceptual creativity and originality. Semester themes are flexible, aimed at allowing students to develop their creativity in a comprehensive way. The result is a garment in its artistic as well as commercial position.

Teaching practical problem solving in graphic design with follow-up career-oriented study in electronic publishing. The professional focus is based on a theoretical foundation in cultural studies, marketing, marketing communications theory and practice, and English language studies.

Ústav zajišťuje výuku zaměřenou na podniky v průmyslu, obchodu a ve službách a na malé a střední podnikání. Ve vědeckovýzkumné činnosti se zaměřuje na otázky uplatnění nástrojů manažerského účetnictví a controllingu s cílem zvyšování výkonnosti podniků, problematiku řízení nákladů ve zdravotnictví.
